Samuel Mitchell is a native of East Chicago IN and has been married to Evg. Missy. Jeanette Mitchell for 33 years. He has resided in Kansas since 1977. Samuel is the father of one son, Elder Dumyat Mitchell and three daughters, Christina, StarShemeh and Tammy. He is a devoted grandfather to 3 grandsons and 7 granddaughters and one great grandson.
II Administrator Superintendent Mitchell has been the Pastor and Founder of the Open Arms Outreach Ministries Church of God in Christ in Topeka, Kansas since 2003. While pastoring, he worked for Goodyear Tire/Rubber company for 22 years.
II Administrator Superintendent Mitchell has a fervent passion for the lost and down trodden, serving faithfully in missions and prison ministries. He is a builder of people empowering them to do the Lord’s work and helping them to walk in their God given destiny.
II Administrator Superintendent Mitchell presently serves:
- as the Superintendent of the Capitol City District, Jurisdictional Finance chairman Kansas Central Jurisdiction, II Administrator To the Bishop of Kansas Central Jurisdiction, State Marshall and Sgt.
- II Administrator Superintendent Mitchell is a veteran, having served four years in the United States Army during the Viet Nam War era.
- II Admin. Supt. S.C. Mitchell joined the Board of Directors of You Can Begin Again/You Can Begin Again Too, to help young women establish a healthy lifestyle.
- a liaison within the Kansas community.
